Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
He became involved in his profession through a progression of opportunities. When he came out of high school, he started working in the field on the construction side, and as time went on he moved up to field operator, and eventually into the position he is in now, as general manager. He also had a strong mentor, Mr. John Lorbiecke, who took him under his wing when he was a roustabout in construction.

Mr. Herauf has worked for three natural gas companies in 30 years, and built two different systems in the Powder River Basin of Wyoming.
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
Overseeing operations maintenance and measurement for the Wyoming region, making sure everything runs smoothly; Dealing with land and owner issues
Where Will You Be In 5 Years:
In five years, Mr. Herauf will help Copano Energy expand and build its presence in the Rocky Mountains.
