She attributes her success to believing that failure is not an option, as well as the idiom: burn the ships but don't burn the bridges.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved in her profession because she got tired of being laid off. She has always been in the industry and after training her own replacements on three separate occasions, she decided to run her own business.
Extended Bio Profile:
In 1973, Ms. Duvall was the first woman to ever graduate from Aircraft Mechanic School in the U.S Air force. She passed every course with top scores and was hired as the first woman pipeline instructor. She now has five grandchildren and one great grandchild. EcoTech Recycling, LLC, gives free service to her community for all electronic waste. Ms. Duvall also authored a book about being a chief executive officer in training; the book is about a woman's perspective on all the things one may do wrong while running a new company.
