Extended Bio Profile:
Ms. Ballinger is a pioneer of women in the U.S. Air Force and wants other women to know that they, too, can carve a path for themselves. She has previously worked for the U.S. Air Force chief of staff as a superintendent in the U.S. Air Force quadrennial review and resource management. She has also worked for the Secretary of Defense as the chief of administration personnel and security. She worked at the Pentagon for nine years. She authored the first BDT letter and tracking system and an unclassified report on the Manhattan Project, and was hand selected as the directorate security expert to be the liaison with the U.S. Air Force Office of Special Security.
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
Overseeing Air National Guard A3/A5E contracts; Handling budget and financial management support; Ensuring contract compliance by the defense contractor; Monitoring funding transactions; Advising the National Guard Bureau A3/A5; Coordinating all budget, contract and financial transactions with the Department of Defense; Ensuring that all funds are obligated and executed at rates set by the Department of Defense, U.S. Air Force and Air National Guard
