She attributes her success to her hard work.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved in her profession because she has always wanted to be a piano teacher and see the other side of children, such as their talents. Altough she left teaching to go into the business world for seven years, she returned and is now in her 17th year of teaching.
Extended Bio Profile:
Ms. Thorpe's fifth-grade chorus performs in the Warrenton parade, Gum Drop Square, and will be singing the national anthem at a Potomac Nationals' baseball game.
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
Teaching general music for pre-kindergarten and fifth grade; Recording fourth graders; Keyboarding lessons with fifth graders
