She attributes her success to the fact that she cares about people and tries to help them; the older she grows, the more people she helps. She also credits her parents, who taught her the value of hard work.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved in her profession because she enjoys and excels at speaking in front of people; as a student, she was always involved in debate and drama clubs. She wanted to help people and saw working as a lawyer as an extension of that.
Extended Bio Profile:
The Law office of Cindy Barton serves all of the Uintah, Carbon, Wasatch and Duchesne area. In 2007, Ms. Barton won an historic appeal of U.S. v. Hardman at the United States Court of Appeals for the 10th Circuit. She was an associate with Las Vegas law firm Bell and Young from 1990 to 1994.

Where Will You Be In 5 Years:
In five years, Ms. Barton hopes to finish writing several books, and become more financially secure, so she can take some time off to do missionary work for her church.
