She considers every aspect of all her business ventures an achievement and a personal growth. Successfully achieving the goal for each client, each buyer and each person with whom she associates is a constant encouragement to continue to learn new things and deal with the constant change dealing with today's markets.

What Does He/She Attribute Success To:
She attributes her success to her hard work and a deep faith in God, who blessed her with great talents. She also credits a host of other attributes, including: a willingness to work at an early age to support herself while learning a discipline and work ethic in many tasks on a junior executive program at a high-end department store from the age of 16-21; working in an area that was supported by her degree plan at TWU; being disciplined to not stray from her goals; the encouragement from her teachers and other adults to continue to learn from each situation that arose; a willingness to not overspend before she could afford what she wanted; a determination to be the best and most informative in her chosen career; and learning from the open community and giving back to that community. For her, it added up to faith, determination, ethics, hope, learning, achievement, and sharing. This period of time was from 1954-1961. Besides working with this department store, she had other jobs on campus while at the University.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved in her profession after her first job with the high-end department store connected her to the interior decorating studio (now it would be called Interior Design). She had a natural artistic talent and a love for learning, and knew when she was in the sixth grade that she would professionally pursue a career in the fine arts field.
Extended Bio Profile:
All three divisions of her company require extensive knowledge and experience in design, marketing, merchandising, visual merchandising, showroom design and retailing with legal knowledge of credit and finance, fees, contracts, Letters of Agreement, and other elements to successfully facilitate a complete and successful experience in today's market.

Maintaining all business procedures; Dealing with the scope of the interior design services for a client; Staying in contact with clients in all three elements of the corporation; Giving instruction to all contract labor; Processing orders to define deadlines; Meeting with buyers; Meeting with related construction, building, design, and workroom professionals; Having complete control of the financial and legal aspect of all three divisions of the corporation
