Mr. Walters has worked for Kohl's Department Stores for 15 years. He started as a supervisor, and worked his way up through positions as a manager, then district loss prevention manager, to his current position as a regional director. He is at present the director for the state of Texas; previously, he was based in Colorado and directed a territory that included seven Rocky Mountain states.
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
Enhancing process and company profit by reducing shortage and exercising financial control; Supervising seven district managers and 106 hourly employees; Hiring and training district managers; Making recommendations for promotions for hourly employees; Recommending district managers for promotion to the level of regional managers; Collaborating with others to design a more efficient and accurate inventory process
