He became involved in his profession because retail allowed more time for family than law enforcement.

Mr. Walters has worked for Kohl's Department Stores for 15 years. He started as a supervisor, and worked his way up through positions as a manager, then district loss prevention manager, to his current position as a regional director. He is at present the director for the state of Texas; previously, he was based in Colorado and directed a territory that included seven Rocky Mountain states.
