She became involved in her profession after gaining 21 years of experience specializing in customer service in the communications field; when that industry was downsizing, she moved over to the management side, and soon became involved in education management.

Ms. Behrens has been with her current employer for three years and was promoted into management after just four months based on her demonstrated work ethic. At her previous job with GTE/Verizon, she held three management positions, working directly for divisional director in a position made especially for her to analyze customer service. She was in communications for 21 years. In her present capacity, she goes into class and makes financial aid presentations to give students information that will prevent students from defaulting on educational loans. She previously did speaking and presentations on management with Verizon.

Overseeing personnel and financial representatives in the financial aid process; Making sure the staff move quickly through the calendar process,; Preparing reports on each student and the process; Supervising six direct reports; Overseeing customer service
