Mr. Lima is working on the development of the Third Generation Partnership Project 2, which was born out of the International Telecommunications Union and International Mobile Telecommunications Association. It is intended to bring high-quality mobile multimedia telecommunications to a worldwide mass market by increasing the speed and ease of wireless communications, and therefore, addressing issues of an increased demand to pass data via telecommunications and provide anytime, anywhere services.

Working on systems development and operations that employ 3GPP2 technologies; Coordinating for 3GPP2; Implementing standards; Developing IMT-2000 systems
