Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved in her profession after many years in for-profit organizations; she realized that there are so many people who need help and training, and she wanted to help that segment of the population.
Extended Bio Profile:
Ms. Mokolo was a human resources generalist, and spent 21 years in the HR industry working at for-profit companies. She founded Lucinma Women Development Center in July 2004. Ms. Mokolo has had magazine articles published, and speaks at women's conferences, business development workshops and seminars.
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
Handling strategic development initiatives; Coordinating the center's activities; Managing the development of programs and fundraising efforts; Networking with donors; Overseeing both campuses in Texas and Nigeria; Providing vocational training, including computer technology instruction trade-specific training
