Her favorite highlight of her career thus far is helping a grieving family deal with the long process of a loved one dying in the hospital. Sharing in their experience and their emotions was a turning point early in her career, as she learned what a difference just one person can make during a time of crisis and pain.

She became involved in her profession due to her desire to make a difference in the country and community she lives in and in the lives of the patients she serves.

Performing the duties of a registered nurse in the intensive care and cardiovascular unit, excellent patient care; Assisting health care attorneys and their legal teams to win cases and earn justice for patients

Where Will You Be In 5 Years:
In five years, Ms. deBruyn intends to have built a successful certified legal nurse consulting entrepreneurship, serving several attorney-clients and their firms. She also would like to have completed her advanced degrees in nursing and public health, and be a vocal advocate for the nursing profession and their patients in Texas.
