Ms. Jangula also breeds long-coat Chihuahuas, and is known around the world for the advice she provides via the "Ask Linda" link on her website. She is an ordained elder, as is her husband, and a deeply spiritual person. She believes that the highest honor lies in truth and honesty, and that it is essential to maintain a high sense of integrity in all areas of life. Ms. Jangula also finds it interesting that she has "parallel genes" with the great American thinker Ralph Waldo Emerson, who was a direct ancestor of her grandfather. Although she by no means places herself on the same plane as Emerson, she feels that her inherited roots run deep, and sees parallels between her life and his. Emerson's intellect, connection with the divine, humility, service, emphasis on truth, and hard-won optimism are touchstones for her.
