Never losing a life on a rescue mission. Over 5000 confined space saves.
How would you like to be remembered by your peers?:
A Man that had NO fear when it came to saving lives. He handled many one of a kind, never been done before, and near impossible projects and rescue missions.
If you could solve one problem in the world today, what would it be?:
Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do is in harmony.

Communication, if everyone could learn to really listen. We were given two ears and only one mouth, so we could listen twice as much as we can speak.

He attributes his success to his persistence and ability to stay focused on the company's mission, which is to save lives.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
He became involved in his profession because of the number of preventable deaths that occur in confined spaces. Because of his military experience and background in safety and rescue, an oil company requested that he assemble a team of qualified rescue workers; the business evolved from there.
Extended Bio Profile:
A master safety trainer and emergency management specialist. He currently serves as the chairman of the board for the Confined Space Technical Rescue Association, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the quality, training of professional rescue personnel. The organization's goal is to reduce the number of deaths that occur in confined spaces by 50 percent every decade. Mr. Bush is the author of the STOP Accidents Safety Program, S.O.S. a behavior-based accident prevention program. He has been the president and chief executive officer of Safety Training and Rescue Services, Inc., for the past 13 years. For the last three years, the corporate headquarters has been based in Houston,Texas.
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
Level IV Emergency Managment Specialist
Performing quality assurance of the company's divisions: safety, training, RAE systems, rescue and technical. Quality control of the development of safety and training programs. Field training of STARS highly qualified rescue teams in tanks, rail cars, tankers, mines, power plants, refineries, windmills and anywhere disasters occur.
