Throughout the duration of your career, what was the one highlight that stood out the most?:
A major highlight of his career was the "de-instututional movement" in Rhode Island for people with mental health issues. He also cites his degree, being a good leader in the move to conduct hearing screenings for newborns in the country, and his ability to help the state develop public plans to enact ethical stances on many complicated issues. Finally, his is elated that he is still able to educate, treat, inspire, and provide services to the best of his ability!

He attributes his success to a proper upbringing, good education, approaching situations with a positive attitude, and his wife and family.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
He initially became involved in his profession because of his interest in people. He began as a social work investigator for children who were reported as abused or neglected.
Extended Bio Profile:
Mr. Caldarone previously taught group dynamics at various local colleges and was an adjunct professor at Brown University School of Medicine in Community Medicine for 10 years. He has also taught at the social work at Rhode Island College.
He also served as the director of the the state of Rhode Island's Office for Children with Special Health Care Needs, and as the coordinator of programs for infants and toddlers with disabilities for the Rhode Island Department of Health's Division of Family Health. Additionally, Mr. Caldarone served in the U.S. Army for six years.

In five years, Mr. Caldarone intends to continue providing individual treatments, as well as teaching at organizations and through parent support networks. Should an organization require his leadership, that too may happen. In his heart being with my grandchildren in five years would be great as well!
