Throughout the duration of your career, what was the one highlight that stood out the most?:
The most gratifying aspect of her career is being able to help her patients.
Comprehensive psychiatric intake evaluations have been increasingly needed to address the growing medical and psychiatric complexity of our patients at our medical center. On the positive side, these more definitive assessments have more often resulted in numerous cases of successful stabilization and wellness after months or years of current, symptomatic treatment. Some of the patients that I see were chronically depressed and even suicidal, but with close, attentive management have regained a normal mood and returned to thrive at their work rather than having to be boarded out of the military.
