Ms. Fernsler received numerous awards for her work with the local chapter of the Society of Creative Anachronism, Inc., especially in group growth and financial integrity. She served as president of small groups in previous years and assists in general community outreach through public arts projects and environmental concerns in Philadelphia, Pa. Beyond her work expertise, she also has a talent for group management, helping groups to grow and become successfully cohesive and productive through her work with them throughout her adult life. Some of the groups she has worked with have faced difficult challenges and come through them intact.
