Throughout the duration of your career, what was the one highlight that stood out the most?:
Probably one of the experiences related to my career that has impacted me the most, was my time in China. Visiting the rural villages and seeing the disparity in education first hand, looking into the eyes of those who are trying to do so much with so very little; this experience put much of what I do into perspective and really helped me revisit and rethink my priorities.

She attributes her success to hard work, curiosity, and discomfort with the 'status quo'.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved in her profession because of her life experiences. Having worked in industry, finance, and the medical fields in both leadership and teaching roles, education was a natural progression. The diverse range of her previous experiences have enabled her to look through multiple lenses when solving the conplex problems we face in education.
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
Creating, synthesizing, guiding, and authorizing the curriculum and instructional programs; overseeing the pre-k - grade 12 articulation; directing district professional development and new teacher support; guiding the district academy development; leveraging resources; team building and growing leadership capacity in staff; and, facilitation of grant development.
