The highlight of her career was seeing the most at-risk students in West Virginia, Africa, Jamaica and inner city Pittsburgh graduate and go on to do remarkable things with their lives.

What Does He/She Attribute Success To:
She attributes her success to the influence and support of her family, especially her husband Frank and son Brandon, as well as her good work ethic and solid educational background.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved in her profession because she always wanted to teach and embarked on a career path in special education in the mid 1970s when exceptional children were often educated in private schools or not educated. Through the late President Gerald Ford, Pennsylvania Association of Retarded Citizens, and other national and international organization, federal legislation has been enacted that makes it possible for every child with a disability to succeed. It has been a pleasure to lead four public and private schools into the 21st century and always be mindful that our children are tomorrow’s leaders and we have to do all that is possible to prepare them for the considerable challenges that await them.
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
Overseeing all of the day-to-day activities of an inner-city high school; Coordinating between the teachers and administrative staff; Disciplining the students when necessary; Taking on the simultaneous the roles of social worker, school nurse, financial adviser and guidance counselor
