She attributes her success to the many incredible teachers, clients and students who gave her their trust and support.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved in her profession because of a deep knowing and understanding of the importance of movement and alignment. As a modern dancer, she was identified by her choreographers as having a talent to access the imbalances and treat when injury occurred to fellow dancers and artists. That lead to her continued studies in anatomy and kinesiology, and a rewarding career in the healing arts.
Extended Bio Profile:
Ms. Paris-Hunter has been involved in health and wellness for more than 30 years. Most recently she became involved in Yoga Education, a national program designed for the school system and gym and yoga instructor for Somerset preschool and kindergarten. She had prior experience with early childhood development as a director at The Frog, a Head Start School cluster system. In 1972, she was the first women to speak and address issues on children's sexuality in the school system at The Early Childhood Education Conference in Atlanta, Ga.
