Extended Bio Profile:
Mr. Adams is an Oregon trawl commissioner who is involved with various committees and works with the governor. He grew up in Pennsylvania but decided that hitchhiking to California, the land of milk and honey, might render him more opportunities. He owned a landscaping business in California, got the travel bug again and ended up running out of gas in Charleston, where he was suggested by his friend to work for Hallmark Fisheries. He remains involved with numerous seafood festivals across the country. All of his education is from his job training. He volunteers for various seafood-oriented activities and in addition to his daughters, he raised two foster children and helped out quite a few others. He traveled all over the world and looks forward to his upcoming trips to Japan and Hong Kong. He has built a huge greenhouse and raises organic Tilapia. The water from the Tilapia filters through the garden and there are springs on his property. Before hitchhiking to California, he went to the military academy at Bordentown Military Institute, then to Cape Cod, which then led him to hitchhiking to California. He is hoping to introduce a project that is currently in Japan, involving the use of protein enzymes in noodles. He hopes to have this implemented in the public school system in Oregon so that children will eat nutritiously instead of consuming junk and fast foods.
