Mr. Levesque is still working towards achieving something great in his career. To him, the greatest achievement is something that everyone should be able to point to and say "that is amazing." With time, he will get there, and he looks forward to that moment.
Expanded Biography:
Mr. Levesque grew up in the small town of Petrolia, Ontario – the birthplace of the oil and gas industry in North America – and like his forefathers, has been working to blaze a path through uncharted waters. A deep love of construction was instilled by his father. He followed this to Lambton College in Sarnia, Ontario, where he studied and was granted an associates degree in Electronics Engineering Technology. This stepping stone led to Wayne State University, the University of Guelph, University of Waterloo, University of Toronto, and the University of Upper State New York with adjunct studies at MIT and the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.

Mr. Levesque has worked for some of the best companies worldwide. As a principle design engineer for General Electric – Power Systems, he had been a part of teams that had built more than 2000MW of wind power in North America before he was 30 years old ESI originally was based upon the LED lighting designs that Mr. Levesque and his business partner Kevin developed. These designs formed the basis for the growth of the company. Engineered Systems was formed in 1994 from Advanced Electronics Lte., a company that Michael started in high school. Being 100-percent Canadian owned for the past 13 years, the company turned a major milestone in operations and focused primarily on renewable energy technologies. Prior to that, it operated as a design/build house for product design and development for some of the world’s finest products focusing primarily on electronic circuit design, plastics, and integration.

ESI grew and diversified in 2000 and became the Engineered Systems Networked Group of Companies. Engineered Systems Incorporated and Engineered Systems China Limited comprised the corporate structure in 2000. In addition, the company currently supplies green roofing materials, small wind generation systems, large wind generation systems (as a developer), electrical infrastructure, LED lighting systems, solar generation systems, energy storage devices and power factor correction systems. The company also continues to maintain and develop its research and development capabilities and has full electronic development labs in Windsor, Hong Kong and Shanghai, China.
