What Does He/She Attribute Success To:
He attributes his success to being involved. Sales is innate, you are born with it or not. He wants to do more in the field where he is strongest. He knows his product and has outstanding salesmanship. He speaks at functions and puts himself out there; to be successful you have to get out there.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
He became involved in his profession because his dad is a doctor, which caused him to be a premedical student. He did not want to pursue that, and went to work as a night security guard in a mall. He touched base with different stores, and a young jeweler offered him a job in his store. He became interested in jewelry and took a graduate jewelers course, became affiliated with the Canadian Jewelers Association, got into diamond grading and became a gemologist. He started working as a regional manager and operations manager of the entire company. But he decided to move on because he could not go any further in the family-owned company; he was not a family member. He went to Bulova in 1990 as a sales manager and became the regional manager for central Canada. He then moved up to the main office in Toronto, as a national sales manager. In September 2011, he was promoted to the managing director of Wittnauer Watch Co., after it was purchased by Bulova. He was solely responsible for that division of the company. Today, he is vice president of sales.
Position Responsibilities and Duties:

Where Will You Be In 5 Years:
In five years, Mr. Cameron expects to remain in this position; he could be the number-two man for the rest of his life. He is well-known in the industry, but he is feeling around to see what is out there. He is trying to figure a way he can run the sales force and be a manager as well. He envisions having an agreement and moving back to London and running the sales force from there in a position created for him.
