Extended Bio Profile:
Dr. Therriault hails from Sept-Iles, a small city on the northern shore of Quebec. The city's geographic proximity to the famous Manicouagan impact crater may have played a major role in development of Dr. Therriault's career path. In high school, she had a dream to travel to space and step foot on another planet. Since 1990, Dr. Therriault has written and published many scientific articles linked to her studies of impact craters and impact metamorphism.
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
Developing and maintaining the organization's earth materials collections; Conducting educational presentations on geology and paleontology; Addressing Earth's environmental history and offering critiques of scientific content in movies; Discussing the history and importance of Canada’s geology as it is related to the development of the country and the lives of its citizens
Where Will You Be In 5 Years:
In five years, Dr. Therriault hopes to work as a director or director general with Natural Resources Canada.
