The highlight of her career was having a child who was afraid of needles or having the blood taken, hug her leg and said "thank you for not hurting me" or to see a child get better and to be able to make a difference in the families.

Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved in her profession because of her curiosity to find out what is going on inside the body by taking the blood or serum from the patient, and eagerness to know the different processes the blood and serum goes through to get the end results.
Extended Bio Profile:
Ms. Ellenberger has two sons, who are 3 and 9 years old. Her elder son is affected by autism. She took the board of registry exam the first time in 2003 and second time in June 2009. She volunteers her time with bake sales to promote autism awareness. She has done several food drives to raise money for different charities.

In five years, Ms. Ellenberger hopes to get into management, become a coordinator in a hospital and oversee other laboratories.
