Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
He became involved in education because it is a logical and noble profession. He chose journalism and writing because he is a thinker, and writes what he thinks.
Extended Bio Profile:
Dr. Erriah emigrated to Canada in 1960. He then moved to Trinidad and taught there. Dr. Erriah eventually got his green card in the U.S., and has been teaching and writing there since 1988. He just published and released his book, “Quo Vadis: Perspectives On The Commonwealth Caribbean From Colonial Times To Present, with Dog Ear Publishing.” In addition, he has taught as a teaching assistant in political economy at Carleton University in Ottawa, at the University of the West Indies in political science and journalism, extramural. Furthermore, he taught American history at Hillcrest High School from 1989 to 2009. Lastly, he had his own television show in Trinidad called "Viewpoint" from 1982 to 1989, discussing current issues. Dr. Erriah is the author of "Dependence and Underdevelopment: Multinational Corporations and Economic Nationalism in the Commonwealth Carribean."

Writing on topics revolving around the political economy, mostly related to the Commonwealth of the Caribbean; Teaching courses in writing, including journalism and global literature; Writing his own syllabi for the courses that he teaches; Publishing many articles on sociopolitical and economic issues, and a monogram on multinational corporations in Commonwealth Caribbean; Teaching classes with 35 students each; Completing detailed assessments on students and receiving assessment from them in return that are above national mean; Completing research on topics for publications; Writing on international issues
