She became involved in her profession because she had managed local rock bands, which led to a degree in artistic management and working for a record company in music licensing for film and TV.

Ms. Streeter has more then 25 years of working in the film music industry for a record label or studio. She was the vice president of music administration at Warner Bros. Pictures for almost 20 years. She is starting her own company, representing film composers, orchestrators and recording engineers and mixers, as well as providing score coordination services.
