He attributes his success to his love of music.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
He became involved in his profession from his childhood when he asked his parents for a piano; he began composing at the age of seven, and at the age of 10, he created 21 short symphonies and three operas.
Extended Bio Profile:
Mr. Seidler enrolled at Juilliard and majored in composition at the age of 17. He studied music theory with Vincent Persichetti, and devised an overture in the form of homage to Charles Ives. He was best noted for his work in the 1970’s with the blues and ragtime revival. He recorded several LPs while under contract with Blue Goose Records, while he sang and played piano. His most famous and most successful recording was “The Duke of Ook.” He is a lifetime musical composer of contemporary music. Mr. Seidler says, “In the digital age, I fear the performing arts as we know them becoming collateral damage” to the rapid onset of technological progress in other areas. For this reason, he founded FHE Creative and Performing Artists, Inc. in 1995 and incorporated in 2001. His goal, in this digital age, is to keep live performances in the performing arts a living, growing entity hopefully beyond the 21st century. He is currently putting an opera together based on the novel, "The Shining" with Stephen King.
