Ms. Belli's greatest career achievement was helping children with special needs, who were living in poverty-stricken areas, and making a positive impact on their lives.

Expanded Biography:
Ms. Belli has published some of her work and was awarded a school bell from a one-room schoolhouse. She was greatly inspired by her educators in Oakland, Calif. She is passionate about conveying the idea that a good education can make a world of difference in a person's life. She believes that her greatest professional accomplishment to date was teaching at the university level. Her favorite quote comes from Eleanor Roosevelt, who said, "No one can make you feel inferior without your consent." Ms. Belli advises those who aspire to enter the profession to be prepared to work hard and expect constant change. She would like to dedicate this recognition to her mother, Dorothy Purser, who was the first person to recognize her talent. Ms. Belli worked for the Oakland School District and was greatly inspired by her colleagues because they were committed and provided quality education to their students.
