Position Responsibilities and Duties:
Training in defensive tactics, including pepper spray, firearms, taser, baton, crisis intervention; excited delirium; Supervising 10 to 15 employees, including civilians and sworn officers; Managing the welfare of inmates and arrestees by managing court paperwork, transportation and housing; Supervising fugitives and federal inmates; Overseeing operations during all emergency procedures and use of force scenarios as they involve inmates in custody; Participating in the management, application and enforcement of departmental policies and procedures; Interacting with other police agencies, law enforcement entities and citizens
