She attributes her success to having an open relationship with all her students and her students being able to confide and trust her. She loves hearing from her old students and knowing that she made a difference in their lives. She cared deeply for all her student and this shows by over 100 students still keeping in touch with her.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved in her profession as Shirley Temple look alike as a child. She loved to sing and perform.
Extended Bio Profile:
Ms. Tropp is a retired NYC teacher. She taught English Special Education ran a theater program at Long Island City High School. She started her career as an actress on the star time kids on Television. She attended a professional children school at the age of 3 until her teenage years. She often sung at many of the high-end hotels. After doing summer stock she preferred directing. She later taught theater in Winchester at a lock up school for juvenile delinquents in which she stayed in this position for five years. In 1980 she went to Ossinger High School in Northern Westchester. In 1985 she went to Long Island City High School. In 1996 she was forced to retire due to an accident of falling down a flight of stairs in school. During her career she has performed in many debuts ans well as put on many theatrical performances.
She is the first person in this country who integrated special ed kids into theater Programs.
Ms. Tropp is married to Zachery and Architect and Engineer for the past 47 years. They have two wonderful children, Barry a movie producer and Judybeth an attorney both children residing in California. She and her husband enjoyed being retired and is looking forward to there trip to Asia, New Zealand, Australia and Singapore later on in the year.

Where Will You Be In 5 Years:
In five years, Ms. Tropp hopes to continue teaching voice and acting with directing. She always love working with youth. Loves to work with kids and get them ready for college.
