She attributes her success to her strong spiritual faith, a resolve to be a positive force in the world, and the support of her family and friends.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved in her profession through her previous experience as a television news journalist, which fostered her love of writing. Additionally, she herself was a person of international adoption, she was born in the U.K. and adopted by Americans; she also adopted children from other countries. She held a desire to share her personal experiences and journey.
Extended Bio Profile:
Through her hard work and dedication, Ms. Madrid-Branch established the Adoption Means Love Foundation and Adoption Tribe Publishing, enabling her to spread her message. Nationally and internationally, she has written books on adoption for children and is the author of a growing series of children's books on adoption, including the highly acclaimed book, "The Tummy Mummy," as well as the adult book, "Adoption Means Love, Triumph of the Heart." She is in the process of writing a line of books for women called, "Mascara Moments;" "Mascara Moments: Embracing The Woman In The Mirror," is the first book written within this line. She is an ambassador and a committed activist for adoption and for women to find inspiration. She inspires others to find their greatness within. Ms. Madrid-Branch and her husband formed the foundation with the vision that "all adoptable children will find the loving families destined to be theirs, and the world will celebrate adoption on every continent." That vision is alive and growing in the state of New Mexico, where it is focusing its work to support children in foster care, and to educate and advocate on behalf of adoption. Furthermore, Ms. Madrid-Branch has her own blog, "Let Her Be Greater," and does a lot of inspirational speaking.
