She became involved in her profession as the president of a nonprofit organization because she wanted to help women who were struggling and didn't have insurance to pay for cancer treatments.

Ms. White established The Angels of Hope Foundation nine years ago. Its mission is to create awareness about women's health issues, including breast, ovarian, cervical, uterine and colon cancer, by reaching out to the local community. She encourages all women to become informed, face their fears, and take responsibility for their own well being. In addition to raising funds for The Angels of Hope, Ms. White runs a high-end women's fashion boutique featuring elegant evening wear along with classic professional attire. She has been a stylist for 40 years and wardrobes approximately 200 clients every season.
