Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
He became involved in his profession because when he turned 40 years old, he did not want to go on tour anymore, having done it since the age of 15. Modern Drummer offered him a job as an advertising assistant, and he was later moved to the editorial department.

Mr. Amendola played drums on the triple platinum song, "Only in My Dreams," by Debbie Gibson from her debut album "Out Of the Blue." Mr. Amendola also played on the 12-inch "Shake Your Love" by Debbie Gibson, as well as many others, including a few TV commercials.
