Throughout the duration of your career, what was the one highlight that stood out the most?:
The highlight of her career was publishing her first nonfiction book, "Heart Cry," and hearing how it had impacted not only women, but men and families. Some of the greatest rewards for her personally are seeing and reading about the changes in people’s lives as they face difficult and sometimes excruciating situations after listening to her CDs, reading her book, or attending the conferences where she speaks.

What Does He/She Attribute Success To:
She attributes her success to being committed to the goals she sets out to achieve and having the faith to carry them out. She also credits not giving up and learning from discouragement. She believes you can make mistakes but overcome them with goodness.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved in her profession because she had lived a life where she had escaped from a country being invaded, as well as living under communism. During these struggles, she found that God was her peace, since the world in general did not get any better. Her career was further influenced as a result of her daughter's request for her to counsel and advise her on the teachings of the Bible.
Extended Bio Profile:
Ms. Winston is the published author of, "Heart Cry," a nonfictional account of her family’s resilience through the trials they encountered after living in the jungles of Sumatra to teach the former aboriginal headhunters of God's love for them. She has also participated in approximately 40 radio broadcast interviews with Elizabeth Elliot’s "Gateway to Joy" radio program and did six television broadcasts, including "Women as Wives," "Women as Mothers" and "Women in Society."
Ms. Winton has been married for 53 years and has five grown children, 28 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. Giving other women hope has been one of the reasons why she teaches Bible studies and speaks at women’s conferences and retreats.

In five years, Ms. Winston hopes to start working on her second book, which will be a sequel to "Heart Cry." She also hopes to continue mentoring women, as well as expanding her business, which she is running with the help of her grandchildren.
