Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved in her profession because of her two daughters: one was Miss North Dakota in 1992 and the other has been in international swimsuit calendars, competes in fitness competitions and was Miss North Dakota in 1991.
Extended Bio Profile:
Ms. Christensen helps people, grooms them and gives them the experience they need to go to a more metropolitan area, at which point she refers them to bigger agencies. She is the author of "Gonna Run?," a book for people deciding whether to run for public office. She charges only $250 for the pageant, instead of the typical $1,000 entry fee, and gets retail stores to supply the clothes for the girls. After all, she does her job for the love, not for the money, and does not want any girl to be unable to follow her dream because of monetary constraints.
