She became involved in her profession after caring for her grandfather when he was ill; he was a dialysis patient, and in order to learn how to care for him, she went to school to learn about health care procedures.

Ms. Williams is best noted for her caring nature. Nursing is her passion, and she enjoys making time to help others. She believes that sometimes, all a patient needs is someone there to listen. Initially, she spent four years in accounts receivable in a hospital setting. Afterward, she ventured into clinical work. Ms. Williams has also opened her home to mentally challenged children in the state of North Carolina.
