She attributes her success to her passion for helping others.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved in her profession because she was asked to join a record label in 1995. Prior to this, she was given the opportunity to work with M.D. Levert, owner of Breakout Music upon her arrival to North Carolina.
Extended Bio Profile:
Prior to her current profession, she was employed within the airline industry for 27 years and was a police officer for seven years. She is also a certified, licensed foster parent through the state of North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services for abused and neglected children and mentors families throughout the North Carolina system. She is also a motivational speaker on a variety of topics, including finances, for Wealth International in Atlanta, Ga.

Ms. Alston would like to give special thanks to her daughter, Angela Williams, for her contribution, dedication and support to the music.
