She became involved in her profession because she has a strong background in advertising, communications and strategic planning. Each position evolved into the next and she continued to follow her mission to learn and to teach until this wonderful challenge appeared, enabling her to combine her skills.

In five years, Ms. Hartigan wants to establish a Guilford Battleground district that will be a collaboration between several parks, with a shuttle system, restaurants and a new visitor's center.
