She attributes her success to the great mentors who have guided her throughout every step of her career, from student teaching up through her current position.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved in her profession through her friend, who was a fifth-grade teacher. She explained what the job entailed and the opportunities that it provided. Dr. Morrow saw that she would be able to help children learn, and work with their parents and the community.
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
Overseeing all instructional areas, including kindergarten through 12th-grade instruction, prekindergarten classes, and career and technology education; Managing the gifted program for exceptional children, English as a Second Language, art, music, physical education and accountability
Where Will You Be In 5 Years:
In five years, Dr. Morrow hopes to become the superintendent of a school system.
