She attributes her success to her dynamic team, which shares a common vision for a greater good. She also credits her passion.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved in her profession through a tragedy. Her 16-year-old son, Tyler Hill, died a preventable death while on a student ambassador trip to Japan in 2007. Ms. Hill wanted to build a coalition to keep children safe when traveling abroad, and heard from many other families whose children had been abused, abandoned or killed abroad.
Extended Bio Profile:
Ms. Hill is committed to raising awareness for the children who have died while traveling abroad. She advocates against their rape, abuse, malnourishment, unsafe housing, and endangerment on unsafe roads in unsafe vehicles. Once their feet touch foreign soil, there is no jurisdiction to protect them. Ms. Hill feels strongly that the next generation of world leaders need to establish federal guidelines, accountability and protections for children traveling abroad. With the "Clear Cause" of keeping children and students safe on travels overseas, Ms. Hill has established two nonprofit organizations, published a book, and formed a strategic partnership with Tisa Mendosa of Buzzledom.com. In addition, ClearCause is extremely honored to be the premier provider of International Student, Youth and Teacher identification, discount and insurance cards, as well as a forthcoming debit card for middle and high school students. The ISYC is the only internationally recognized student ID, with more than 4 million users. It offers discounts at more than 40,000 vendors worldwide, $25,000 of health and dental coverage, and $100,000 for emergency evacuation, with toll-free international crisis and concierge support 24/7. Affordable and reliable international cell are available. In addition, ClearCause is the premier provider of the 911 Medical ID, which is the only device that keeps critical information where it needs to be—on the student. The 911 Medical ID integrates into a compact USB device a personal health record backed up by 24/7 international support on a Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act-compliant server, and provides a profile that includes information about insurance, emergency contacts, allergies, medications, prior procedures, immunizations, health care directives, and more. The 911 Medical ID improves quality of care and saves time, money and lives. Ms. Hill's book about her son, "Walking on Sunshine, NRG: A Divine Transformation," was a finalist in the USA Book News' Best Books 2011 competition.
