She attributes her success to the informal aspect of her education, being involved with projects and departments that start out of her responsibility area, but that she gets involved with and becomes part of the team.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved in her profession as she started with strong system knowledge, which got her active in the process piece. When she moved to a small town in Illinois, she fell into it and has progressed ever since.
Extended Bio Profile:
Dr. Berger started in the area of business processes more than 30 years ago and brought that experience to the agriculture industry in 1988. She has been with Land O Lakes, Inc., for 10 years, four years in her current capacity. She does speaking and presentations, such as at the PMI Educational Conference in 2010 and as part of symposiums for diversified business management training. She had her dissertation published.
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
Providing project management primarily on supply chain projects in all phases of life cycle on multiple projects; Laying out plans; Marshaling staff and resources; Facilitating white board discussions, document oversight for the discovery aspect; Acting as an internal consultant
