Mr. Bassett would like to have lunch with Bernard Bass to further explore his theories on transformational and transactional leadership, Kathleen Sutcliffe and Karl Weick to further explore their theories on organizational mindfulness, Edgar Schein to discuss his theories on helping, and Kurt Lewin and John Kotter to learn more about their theories on change management.

Mr. Bassett attributes his success to his continuous learning of cultures, teams, and organizations. He continuously learns from colleagues, professors, and authors of journals and books.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
Mr. Bassett became involved in his profession because he has passion for being involved in the military. He previously served as an Armored Crewman but followed his passion with helping soldiers as a Senior Human Resources Sergeant.

Mr. Bassett manages personnel actions for traditional and active duty personnel

Military Awards: The Army Commendation Medal (2008-2009) for training more than 300 soldiers on the Personnel Services Delivery Redesign concept, a decentralized process of processing administrative actions for soldiers; Meritorious Service Medal (2006-2008) for providing training, logistics, and administrative oversight to a military organization; Meritorious Service Medal (2004-2006) for providing medical support and coordinating with medical facilities outside of Minnesota to ensure a medical rating of 95% of medically deployable soldiers; Three Army Commendation Medals; Three Army Achievement Medals.
