The highlight of her career was when co-workers recommended her for the training and building of the LIS software. It was sincerely the most rewarding experience that continues to give her the increased opportunity for learning.

She became involved in her profession because the opportunity to return to school after 9/11 was awarded to her as a single mother.

Position Responsibilities and Duties:
Working on the laboratory information system in the meditech software environment; Spending in excess of 300 hours building the software and implementing it within the system; Handling patient phlebotomy with collection of blood samples to test in the departments of chemistry, hematology, blood banking, urinalysis, coagulation, special chemistry, serology and microbiology; Writing and implementing procedures; Dealing with controls for quality and excellence; Conducting customer service
