Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved in her profession after initially wanting to become a medical doctor and being accepted to an honors program. She realized that she enjoyed the projects she was working on during a summer internship in finance and marketing.
Extended Bio Profile:
Ms. Hardy began her career with 3M in 2000 after being recruited from Tulane University's school of business with an MBA in marketing and international business. Upon joining 3M, she participated in a rotational program in the consumer and office goods division.
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
Managing the Scotch-Brite brand, including brand consistency and product portfolios for individual markets; Ensuring that countries abroad are in sync with the global strategy; Creating the marketing framework for scouring products, wipes, wet wipes, steel wool and various other cleaning products; Working with various countries regarding product offerings; Inventing and implementing new product processes to fill the gaps where needed
