She became involved in her profession because she is led by what moves her. When she sees people in need, she wants to help them.
Extended Bio Profile:
Ms. Houston considers herself a "catcher of words and a catcher of glimpses." She loves stories, photographs and art; these are what move her. She has been writing for four years and taking photos for eight. She has been a philanthropist for her entire life. In February of 2011, Ms. Houston did an interview with the Maine Public Broadcasting Network. She spoke about her journey and her love of peace. She encourages others to make their dreams come true. She is the author of "For the Love of Peaks: Island Portraits & Stories: A Collection." She has written two additional books, which are awaiting publishing: "Life is Custom Made" and "Uncommon Sense: The Book of Frannie."
