She became involved in her profession because of her previous experience as a federal law enforcement officer. She started as a volunteer with National Capital React on the case of the missing Lyon sisters.

Functioning as a liaison for FEMA Region 3, which includes MD, VA, DE and WA; Regarding cases of missing persons; Ensuring each individual on the team maintains a minimum of 40 hours of training and 16 years of horse training; Tracking deployments; Monitoring operations
