Dr. Wilkens has published many research articles in medical literature. She is on the process of publishing a children's book about going to the doctor. She considers her most rewarding aspects of her work are being an integral part in patient diagnosis and subsequently early intervention and managing a large mutimodality imaging center as a medical director.
