She attributes her success to the support of her parents, who were great mentors that helped her maintain her focus and stay on the right track.
Why did you become involved in your profession or industry?:
She became involved in her profession because of her desire to increase student involvement in philanthropy. While attending high school, she was a member of the model United Nations, and organized a group that did community work with HIV and cancer patients.
Position Responsibilities and Duties:
Researching breast cancer; Working with a team member to research the effects of stress and abuse on tumors; Acting as an interpreter in the medical clinic

In five years, Ms. Cervoni-Curet plans to attend medical school and work as a physician scientist researching incidents of breast cancer amongst minority groups.
