She became involved in her profession because she always wanted to become a counselor or teacher; she chose psychotherapy as it does have a teaching aspect.
Extended Bio Profile:
When Ms. Kasper began her career as a psychotherapist, she worked solely for a local mental health agency, and was very content there; however, once she began to practice on her own, referrals kept coming her way. Within a year, she outgrew the office space she had rented with a friend. She now has her own office, and is in the process of expanding that space as well.
