Mr. Richardson began his career as a manufacturing engineer, and subsequently held several positions with Honeywell Bull in Lawrence, Mass. Among his accomplishments there was the submission of cost reductions that amounted to more than five times his own salary. In his two decades with the USPS, he has been a mail handler, operations supervisor, and maintenance supervisor. He had the opportunity to learn operations from the ground up, complete Lean Six Sigma training, and implement cost reductions.
